Q -How do I submit stories?
A- If you have not already done so, please register for an account. Once you've logged in, click on Account Information and choose Add Story. The form presented there will allow you to submit your story.
Q- What are the story classifications?
A- Stories are classified by categories, genres, and warnings.
Q - I forgot my password! What do I do now?
A - To recover a lost password, click here and enter the e-mail address with which you registered. Your password will be sent to you shortly.
Q - What kinds of stories are allowed?

Q - How do I contact the site administrators?
A - You can e-mail us via our contact form.
Q - What are the ratings used on the site?
A - See our Submission Rules
Q – How do I change my story's status to complete?
A - Log into your account, then go to edit/ delete stories, and when the list of your stories appear, go to the story you want to change the status of, and after the title of the story, immediately beside it, it will say completed - No. Click on the 'No' link and it will change to 'Yes."
Q - How do I submit a challenge for others to respond to?
A - If you are asking how to submit a challenge for others to respond to, sign in and go to add new story under your account. Then when it asks you which category, scroll down until you get to the one you desire and click on select or enter, whichever the button says. For the Title put the pairing(s) you want, or the title of the challenge if you have one. In the summary you can also post the pairings, then in the actual body of the story, put in your challenge. I don't think you have to put in any ratings or anything - that will remain blank, but you can click on the characters that you want in your challenge if any specific characters are wanted for the challenge.
Q - May I add images in either the summary of my story, the body of the story, or on my author page?
A - No. We're very sorry, but we do not allow our authors to upload images to the site, or to their work. Please feel free to provide links to your own photo bucket account, or wherever you have your image uploaded. The e-fiction program, which we use to run the site, is SUPPOSED to prevent image uploads from occurring, but unfortunately, it apparently doesn't. Images completely mess up our skins, and they also eat up bandwidth, causing the site to run very slowly, which is the main reason we do not allow image uploads. It also eats up bandwidth for our host provider at an incredible rate. So please refrain from uploading pictures.
Q- I don't see my category. Will you add it?
A- Gladly. Just contact us.

Recently there has been an upheaval over age and what is the age of consent. Fortunately for us in the US, we seem to be okay at the moment with the laws regarding fan fictions, but as we all know, things can change at any time. We are very non discriminatory when it comes to what we allow to be posted on My Kryptonite. However, if there is a change in the legalities of this we will not hesitate to make certain changes to conform to abide by the laws of this country (USA).
One thing we are very serious about is flaming. There is no reason to drive an author to drink, cry or therapy because of your comments. If you can't find something nice or constructive to say, please keep your comments to yourself. We wish to encourage authors. But at the same time we seriously encourage all authors to have a beta, editor or proofreader read over their story.
Just one more thing – if for any reason DC Comics, Warner Bros, or anyone else who could have a problem with My Kryptonite, approaches us to remove this site, we will, immediately. We each have real lives and do not wish to become embroiled in legalities over fan fiction. Nor do we wish to make the sky fall upon our wonderful Host site Squidge.com.
